Scholarships
SECONDARY SCHOOL CERTIFICATE
Fee concession is granted to some students every year for their outstanding performance in the SSC/HSSC examination. This concession is to be extended to the deserving students to encourage merit as follows:-
a. Scholarships for one academic year equivalent to 100% tuition fee to first ten students who obtain at least 90% marks (without failing in any subject) in SSC Part-I annual exam in 1 st attempt amongst students of all discipline.
b. Scholarship for one academic year equivalent to 75% tuition fee for next three students who obtain at least 87.5% marks (without failing in any subject) in SSC Part- I annual exam in first attempt amongst students of all discipline.
c. Scholarship for one academic year equivalent to 50% tuition fee for next three students who obtain at least 87.5% marks in SSC Part-I annual exam. In 1st attempt in the first attempt among students of all discipline.
HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL CERTIFICATE PART- I
Open merit scholarship equivalent to full tuition fee (including admission fee) will be extended to first 10 students (including students other than Bahria Colleges) for one academic year who obtain a minimum of 90% marks in SSC /Equivalent annual examination in the 1st
attempt. In addition, following ten scholarships will be extended for one academic year to Bahria College's students in each college who pass SSC/Equivalent annual exam. In the first attempt, as follows:-
(1) Scholarship equivalent to 75% tuition fee to first five position holders with minimum 85% marks (Excluding students of open merit scholarship).
(2) Scholarship equivalent to 50% tuition fee to first five position holders with a minimum of 80% marks (Excluding students of open merit scholarship).
HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL CERTIFICATE PART- II
a. Scholarships for one academic year equivalent to 100% tuition fee to first ten students who Obtain at least 85% marks (without failing in any subject) in HSSC Part-I annual exam in 1 st attempt amongst students of all discipline.
b. Scholarship for one academic year equivalent to 75% tuition fee for next five students who obtain at least 82.5% marks (without failing in any subject) in HSSC Part-I annual exam in first attempt amongst students of all discipline.
c. Scholarship for one academic year equivalent to 50% tuition fee for next three students who obtain at least 80% marks in HSSC Part-I annual exam. in 1 st attempt in the first attempt among students of all discipline.
A-LEVEL STUDENTS
Following fee concessions be considered for meritorious students of O-Level stream:-
(1) 100% fee concession in respective category for students obtaining straight A’s (i.e. 8 A’s) in 0 level examination.
(2) 75% fee concession in respective category for students obtaining 7 A’s in 0 level examination.
(3) 50% fee concession in respective category for students obtaining 6 A’s in 0 level examination
Note:
In case of transfer from one Bahria College to another, students getting scholarship by virtue of their merit in the previous college will continue to avail the same. The scholarship will be withdrawn if any of the recipients is involved in breach of the college rules.
In case, number of students securing percentages as given above is more than the required figures then those lower in merit will be accommodated in next lower category accordingly so as to meet the requirement in each case.
AWARD OF GOLD MEDALS AND CASH PRIZES TO BOARD POSITION HOLDERS
a. If a student achieve 1st position in the SSC or HSSC Board Examination, he/she shall be awarded CNS Gold Medal along with Cash Prize of Rs.20,000/-
b. If a student achieves 2nd position in the SSC or HSSC Board Examination, he/she shall be awarded the Chairman BOG Bahria Colleges Gold Medal along with Cash Prize of Rs.15,000/-.
c. If a student achieves 3rd Position in the SSC or HSSC Board Examination. He/she shall be awarded respective President Managing Committee Bahria Colleges Gold Medal along with Cash Prize of Rs. 10,000/-
AWARD OF GOLD MEDALS AND CASH PRIZES FOR GCE O & A LEVELS
In addition to the above prizes, Principal is to decide about awarding extra prizes to the students of O/A Level.
